Sandra Lima e Silva, nasceu em Belo Horizonte MG (1961), onde vive e trabalha. É graduada em Odontologia (PUC/MG - 1987), em Arte Visuais (UFMG - 1992) e pós-graduada em Educação para Bem Dotados e Talentosos (UFLA/MG - 2008). Iniciou sua carreira artística ainda como estudante da Escola de Belas Artes, e desde 2011 dedica-se integralmente a arte.

Seja na pintura, gravura ou objetos, Sandra explora a vida em suas mais variadas dimensões, confrontando preocupações humanas fundamentais e seus conflitos, através de uma simbologia própria e intrigante.

Sandra Lima e Silva was born in Belo Horizonte MG (1961), where she lives and works. She holds a degree in Dentistry (PUC / MG-1987), in Visual Arts (UFMG-1992) and a postgraduate degree in Education for the Gifted and Talented (UFLA / MG-2008). She began her artistic career as a student at the School of Fine Arts, and since 2011 she has been fully dedicated to art.
Whether in painting, engraving or objects, Sandra explores life in its most varied dimensions, confronting fundamental human concerns and their conflicts, through her own and intriguing symbology.
